Amazing Sponsors

Flyer Baseball is inviting you to be a vital part in, not only supporting our youth in providing them with continued access and an outlet through this amazing sport, but also to be a trailblazer for this historic event. Nashville, TN (Flyer Baseball’s hometown) will serve as host city for the 2022 Dixie Majors Baseball World Series, July 22-27, 2022. Dixie Boys Baseball has been providing a reliable source and positive recreational activity for youth ages 13-19 for 65 years; through the Junior Dixie Boys (13-14 years old), Dixie Pre-Majors (15-17 years old) and Dixie Majors (18-19 years old).

Allen Murphy, of Flyer Baseball, is well-respected by Dixie Boys Baseball for his 35 year tenure leading World Series teams for the Parkwood Community Club and most recently Flyer Baseball/Spartan615. Coach Murphy has worked diligently and adamantly with the vital mission to youth, aged 15-19, engaged and involved in sports activities with added curriculum that teaches respect, integrity, how to be a good husband and father, college prep, mentorship as well as the value of good sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play Flyer Baseball’s mission is to better each player to have self-esteem, confidence through hands-on mentoring and through life skills development.

The Major World Series is very competitive with 11 state champions as well as the host team competing for the World Series title each year. The first Major World Series was held in 1974 and to date, has never been hosted in the state of Tennessee, Tennessee teams have participated but have never taken home the crown. Many excellent baseball players live in the Nashville area and this creates an opportunity for them, not only to compete, but to play at the Historic Old Timers Baseball Facility in Shelby Park, where many major league players have come to play, including Mookie Betts.

Nashville, Tennessee is a city of history and remarkable experience. Our plan is to make this World Series a day of remembrance and with you joining forces with us, through your sponsorship can help make that happen; Not just for this upcoming World Series, but for years to come!
